Chapter two Prose in Castle Winter | World Anvil

Chapter two

"NO! Dad it's not fair, why can Michael come with you to war, and do I have to stay here? Is it because I'm a girl?"
-"Absolutely not." Arthur Winter snapped. "It's because I need a person I can trust to follow orders and have my back in war. But I need a person who can make decesions on their own, who can lead and command without the backing of their father here."
"oh"
-"'oh' indeed Victoria, when I climb on my horse tomorrow you're in charge and responsible for everything, the castle, the lands, the people we leave behind, the Guard. Was I wrong in my judgement that you where best for that job?"
"No father."

Who was talking with him in the previous chapter? Or was it clear and I blinked?

I thought it was clear, but as the author I'm biased. :P in chapter one, the first person adresses the other as 'dad' and he gets a reply to 'son' dad = Arthur, son = Michael

Yup. It was clear then. Thanks for answering though. :)
