General Physical Condition
Jack's body is proportional in build. He's not as strong as the average seaman, but he can hold his own and pull his wait. He has pretty good agility and speed which he likes to take advantage of. Over all he is fairly fit and able body.

Jack has a triangle shaped face He doesn't grow facial hair very fast and prefers to be clean shaven.

He has a scare on his chin that he got in a sea battle as a midshipman, and he has a scare on his upper right arm that he got in the Augusta Island campaign.

Special abilities
Jack was never been a good shot, but he has been a very good swordsman. He loved swords and became very good at defensive fighting. His favorite way to deal with opponents was to fight them defensively until they made a mistake. His time at sea has given him good sailing skills. His ability to think and plan multiply moves and steps ahead also make him an exceptional tactician.

He wears a British navy captain's uniform. He prefers to wear his boots instead of his shoes. When in battle he uses a basket hilted Hanger, and usually will carry a long knife as either a back up or to use in grappling.

Personal history
Jack Morgan was born to Samuel and Diane Morgan in Bristol, England. Samuel was captain of a merchant ship. When Jack was 11, his mother died giving birth to his only surviving sister named Emma. Samuel left his daughter in the care of relatives and took Jack with him to work on his ship when Jack was 12.
Education
Diane had always hoped her only son would grow up to be a minister. So she had Jack educated by a local teacher named Anna Allen who was Baptist. Anna taught Jack english, math, some basic Bible, and started to teach him French. After the death of Jack's mother, Jack went to sea and didn't receive any direct education until he became a midshipman.
Employment
At the age of 12, Jack served on his father's ship, the "Osprey," until he was 15. At age 15, he joined the royal navy as a midshipman and was put on board the frigate HMS "Indfatigable." At the age of 18, took the Lieutenants examination, passed, and became a Lieutenant and was put on the ship of line HMS "Regent." At age 23, because of his heroic acts, friendship with Admiral Steven Benit, and other connections, Jack was promoted to post captain and given command of the Sloop of war HMS "Perth." At age 26, Jack had accumulated 3 years seniority and was given command of the frigate HMS "Pureheart."
Accomplishments & Achievements
Jack was involved in several engagements aboard the "Indfatigable." Aboard the "Regent" he was involved in the Augusta Island campaign. Jack was very influential in the success of the Augusta Island campaign, and in saving Admiral Steven Benit's life. As commander of the "Perth," Jack was involved in reconnaissance and several small engagements with members of the Black Flag Court.
Intellectual Characteristics
Jack is very independent and confident person. He's fairly courageous but that mostly stems from his confidence. Jack likes to build relationships which helps him stay humble. He does struggle with empathy at times, but he always tries to be sincere and helpful. He likes to think ahead and create elaborate plans to achieve his goals. When he sets his mind to a goal, he will persevere until his goal is achieve although his perseverance sometimes stems from his strong sense of duty.

Motivation
Jack is motivated by duty. He has his own set of strong standards and convictions which mainly stemmed form his religious beliefs. Rearely does Jack go against his beliefs, but occasionally he will do things that don't fully line up with his beliefs out of a sense of duty.

Jack is able to plan things out multiply steps ahead and plan for different out comes. This makes him a great leader as he is not only affective at creating great battle plans and predicting his enemies' moves, but also makes him affective at controlling his crew. He is an excellent swordsman. Because he thinks like this, He prefers to duel his opponents for prolonged periods of time with parries and counterattacks.
Likes & Dislikes
Jack likes to attend social gatherings and prefers to attend the gathers of middle class to low upper class people. He doesn't like parties with Upper class people unless he has friends with whom he can do most of his socializing with. While he has been able to accumulate a small fortune, he always feels out of place surrounded by high class people regardless of how they treated him.
Virtues & Personality perks
Jack rarely drinks. His mother tried to keep him away form drinking, and Anna Allen, his teacher, wouldn't tolerated the thought of anything alcoholic. When he joined his father on his ship his father tried to get him to join him for a few drinks. Jack told his father he hadn't been allowed to drink or be near alcohol. Samuel's father had died from over drinking. Because of this and the fact Jack had never started drinking, Samuel continued to encourage Jack not to drink and even cut back on how much he himself drank. Eventually while Jack was in the navy he started to drink some at social events but the stuff never sat well with him and he hated the taste. He continued to drink every once in a while at social events but only very small quantities and avoided drinking as often as possible.
Vices & Personality flaws
Because of his strong sense of duty and devotion he can go farther then he should and get himself into dangerous situations because he doesn't want to give up his duty. He'll sacrifice his and other safety in order to fulfill his duty. His close friends do their best to help prevent him form going to far in trying to fulfill his duty. He is also a terrible shot. He also can become so focused on the big picture that he misses how those around him actually feel, but this is rare.
Personality Quirks
He is an excellent card game player, but prefers to stay away from gambling as he prefers not to risk money.

Contacts & Relations
Jack likes to make friends and connections and by the end of the Augusta Island campaign he was personal friends with a few admirals including Admiral Steven Benit. During his last year as a midshipman aboard the "Indfatigable," he met Charles Johnson, a new midshipman. The two became good friends. Later on Charles became a Lieutenant on the "Pureheart" and a year later Jack was made captain of the "Pureheart." Jack became quick friends with his 1st lieutenant Jamie Bachman on the "Pureheart." Jamie, Charles and Jack became a very close group of friends that did everything they could to cross paths with each other. Jack became close friends with the Doverhall family while escorting them back to England. After the rescue of the Lady Doverhall, he became a very good friend with Julia Buckler.
Family Ties
Jack's father was a merchant captain who knew a lot of men in the navy. Jack's uncle was also a captain in the royal navy who's son was also in the navy. Jack also had two other cousins that were in the army. Jack's sister, Emma, married at wealthy horse owner.
Religious Views
Samuel Morgan had been converted to a Baptist beliefs early in his life when making a visit to the American Colonies. Because of his profession he was often at sea, but as often as he could he attended First Baptist Church in Boston. With the Colonial political unrest and the American Revolution about to started, Samuel looked for a Baptist Church in England and found a church in Bristol in 1777. In this church he met Diane Spilberry. He married her three months later. Diane took Jack to the Baptist Church in Bristol until her death in 1789. After Diane's death and Jack joined his father at sea, Samuel and Jack would stop into Bristol whenever they could to attend their church and visit Diane's grave.
Jack wasn't very religious nor was he able to attend church that often, but he did treasure his beliefs and his moral compass was based of Judeo-Christian values. Later in life when he got married and started to have his own family he started to attend church as often as he could. His relationship with God grew from there. He didn't always attend a Baptist church as they weren't very common in England. Whenever he couldn't attend a Baptist church, his first choice was to attend a Presbyterian church. He started require a minister of some kind on ship to provide spiritually food for him and the crew. He tried a couple times to get a Baptist minister onto his ships but wasn't successful until his last command.

Jack is an extrovert although not an extreme. He is relatively friendly and likes to be with people. He has a very confident personality, but can be doubting if he is unsure whether to do his duty or not. He has polite manners and good etiquette that slowly improve as he gets older.

History
Lady Wedgwood had been abducted by the French Navy. When Captain Morgan rescued her she became enamored with him, and could see herself marring no one but him. She persuaded her brother, Commodore Wedgwood, to allow Captain Morgan to escort her to Port Royal. She made the most out of the trip trying to spend as much time as possible with him. Captain Morgan wasn't romaticlly interested in her and found her very immature (She was bearly 16).
Wealth & Financial state
Jack's father had made a decent fortune as a merchantman and would give Jack and his sister Emma an allowance. Jack made his own sizable fortune with his feats at the Augusta Island campaign. He likes to attend parties and social events but is overall very frugal.
