Captain Morgan's Log

The Year is 1805. Napoleon Bonaparte had the Franco-Spanish at his disposal giving him the capability to invade the British isles. The British navy was hard at work combating the large fleet and Admiral Nelson was hunting the main fleet hoping to bet them in a decisive battle. But their was trouble in the Caribbean Sea. Ever since the 1750s the French and Spanish had been sponsoring piracy in the Caribbean. In 1759 the Black Flag Court was formed, a coalition of pirate captains sponsored by the French and Spanish to attack British shipping. This coalition had become so powerful that the British couldn't ignore them. But the British couldn't handle both fighting the Franco-Spanish fleet and the Black Flag Court. The British's only hope was an alliance with America who was also be harassed by French ships and the Black Flag Court. The fate of Britain hinged on an Anglo-American alliance. The negotiations were vicious but with out an alliance Britain will loose control of the seas.
