Lom'Ozoth
Lesser Daemon of Disease, Pestilence, and Rot
Lom'Ozoth is the Lesser Daemon of Disease, Pestilence, and Rot. He is depicted in the writings of Cyronea Diatius' "Compendium of The Daemonic Powers" as the first Lesser Daemon created by Thestronak. Supposedly from a first-hand source, Lom'Ozoth was never aperson opriginally, like many of the daemons, but was instead born by Thestronak himself. It is claimed that Lom'Ozoth rose from the miles-long refuse pile of Thestronak's great feeding hall in The Shadowfell. He fed upon the evil-infused leftovers and feces of the Greater Daemon, and rose from it a daemon of significant power, but not necessarily stature.
Lom'Ozoth has since travelled every plane of existence, creating new diseases from the rotting leftovers of all beings everywhere. His creations are normally too small to see, but are insidious in their ability to spread, kill, and leave to rot most beings that comes into contact with them. He has even taken to creating plagues against trees and other Flora, causing even the most adept druids and caretakers of The Feywild to be concerned by his presence.
Many of the largest plagues in Calradia, including the most recent incarnation: The Grey Resonance, have been blamed on the daemonic magics of Lom'Ozoth for their ability to defy identification or curing by simple magical means.
