Ariminium is a town along the imperial highway between Aelfwine Bridge and the town of Salernum near the city of Vostrum.
The town is governed by the burghers of House Hadrigan , but is de facto governed by a local mayor, who gets to govern as they please so long as proper taxes are collected and sent to Sevastium.
The town is small by any standard, and is moreso an administrative centre and gathering place for a number of small hamlets the dot the countryside near the town. Most of these produce wool, and mutton from the herding of sheep, as well as the raising of horses to be sold for use in the cavalry of the The Eastern Calradian empire. These herders use Ariminium to purchase needed supplies, gather and gossip, as well as to sell their wares to traders making their way up and down the imperial highway.
