Valley of Angels
Geography
A narrow area of relatively low lying land in western Victoria and stretching into north-east Wessex sandwiched between the Crystal Peaks and Sierra Angelica mountain ranges.
Localized Phenomena
Its position between the two mountain ranges renders The Vale particularly susceptible to long and harsh winters compared to other locales at similar elevation and latitude.
Natural Resources
Coal, more coal and iron ore. It being the only known area in the Wester Provinces where coal can be usefully mined in large quantities, it is renowned (and notorious) as an area of intensive mining operations, heavy engineering and pollution.
