Crystal Peaks
Crystal Peaks is range of mountains and hills straddling western Victoria and northern Mercia and is split into three contrasting regions by wide lowland gaps.
The main, most northerly and most mountainous of the three regions forms the western flank of The Vale and is sometimes referred to as Western Angelica. The Crystal Peaks are, however, geologically distinct from the Sierra Angelica and so the “Western Angelica” name is not referenced in any official or learned sources.
The southern gap in the range forms the border between Victoria and Mercia with the southernmost region of the Crystal Peaks being little more than rolling hills and downland tapering off into the Mercian peninsula.
