Tsar Kialdrak Goldenscale
The famed Tsar of Deadreachia Kialdrak Goldenscale, is not only noticable because of the unusual colouring of his scales, but because of his keen mind for tactics even at a very young age. Raised in an orphanage, Kialdrak joined the army as soon as he could enlist, and quickly rose in the ranks, impressing everyone around him, as well as catching the eyes of people due to his beauty. By the age of 23 Kialdrak was knighted by the Tsar himself, and was given command of several units. It is rumored that the knighting ceremony was when Kialdrak and Tsesarevna Maldrith Vohlhinya first met and started their courtship. At age 27 he lead his soldiers on a raid against the a clan of orcs that had terrorised the lands south of the mountains for years. Only very few soldiers were killed in the raid, and the orc clan was desimated. This feat that made Kialdrak even more popular amongst the common folk, and whispers of an uprising against the passive Tsar started. To avoid a revolt the Tsar adopted Kialdrak as his son making him the Tsesarevich of Deadreachia. Soon after Kialdrak married the Tsarevna Maldrith, in a seemingly political move from the Tsar, to make sure his bloodline remained in power. However, none that saw Kialdrak and Maldrith would ever doubt whether they loved each other. The anointment of Kialdrak as Tsesarevich along with the Goldenscale-Vohlhinya wedding cementing his position and assuring there would be no revolts between Vohlhinya- and Goldenscale loyalistsand was ultimately what caused the defection of parts of Ponhearia. Only 4 years after the wedding the old Tsar died, and Kialdrak became ruler of Deadreachia at age 32.
