Balasar was favored by the people of Deadreachia and there's been an uproar amongst them since the denounciation of his title. Personal history

As the youngest son of the Tsar, Balasar has never had any true responsibilities and has been allowed to chose his own path in life. However, even from a very young age he looked very much like his father and as he also displayed an affinity for sword fight, people started to whisper that perhaps he was the "better" heir to the throne. Not wanting to distract from his brother, the true heir, Balasar decided to go on a pilgrimage where he completed the Path of the Dragon, a sacret and difficult journey where one has to prove themselves as withholding the ideals of Bahamut. When he returned he was older, even more handsome, and a chosen fighter of Bahamut. Just like his father was. So the whispers grew louder. Once again, trying to be a good brother and not distract from his brother, Balasar vowed to never marry or create an heir so that there could be no doubt of the line of succession.   Balasar took on a role that would take him away from Deadreach a lot, by patroling the mountains for orcs and other enemies of the Tsardom. He did this in the hopes of being forgotten, but instead his popularity grew. He found himself particularly swarmed by women whenever he came home, all of which hoped he would denounce his vow for them. Balasar realised nothing he did would take away from his natural popularity, and embraced the attention he got, while attempting to use his popularity to fluff up Rhogar. He would fly out above the city on Dragax, and bed any maid who would have him. Simply enjoying life.   Somewhere along the line he got less careful, and ended up in a series of unlucky positions that he needed to be saved from. This series of unfortunate events lead to the discovery that his own brother had attempted to have him killed and turned into an undead puppet for Sharrans because he saw him as a threat. Balasar had always looked up to his brother and loved him dearly. Learning that his own brother had done this broke him. Balasar, who had sacrificed so much to not take away from his brother had been betrayed by him, could not believe that his own brother hated him so much. So, when the two brothers stood before each other, Balasar in a fit of rage killed his own beloved brother. All of this happened in front of the Tsar and Tsarina as well as many witnesses. Therefore, it was decided that Balasar would renounce his title, and leave Deadreachia.   Balasar was lost. He had killed his own brother, lost his home, and was forced to leave Deadreachia and his family. It was at that moment, the High Priestess of the Temple of Eternal Redemption approached him. She told him that Gartherion would embrace him, that he helps those that are lost and directionless. Since then, Balasar has been in contact with Gartherion and has slowly embraced this new religion, that is exactly what he's looking for now.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Balasar see it as his divine duty to protect the people from dangers and has devoted his life to this. Because of this he hasn't married and do not intend to do so, as he doesn't want to neglect his duty as a warrior or husband. As he is the last in line of succession after both his siblings and their children, he doesn't believe it necessary to father any children.
