Giant's Graveyard

Named after the gigantic skeletons dotting the landscape, Giant's Graveyard is a mesa filled with cliffs and rocks where nothing grows besides arid plants and carnivorous beasts. Contained to the North by the Dracoberg Range from which many dragons travel to hunt, Giant's Graveyard is also known for its large wyvern population. Beyond that, it is rumoured to be the nest of an ancient terror, slumbering underneath its rocks and crags: A Tarrasque of the old times. When last it rose from its sleep it ruined the continent of Skargos and its healthy population of Florens, Elves and Men, and scarred and formed the landscape to its own liking. While this event was well documented, its resting place was not, and it has disappeared out of all memory save for old tomes and dusty books in ancient libraries.
