Elemental Planes

The Elemental Planes were the domains of the four Elder Elementals. The Planes are located within the Inner Circle. Each Plane corresponds to one of the four elements Earth, Fire, Water, and Air (Ruled by Terra, Ignis, Aqua, and Caeli respectively).
These planes form a ring around around the Material Plane, providing the raw elemental substance from which the world is made. The Elemental Planes are all connected, and the border regions between them are sometimes described as distant planes in their own right. At the innermost edges of the Elemental Planes resemble places in the Material Plane. As they extend further from the Material Plane the Elemental Planes become increasingly alien and hostile. Here, in the outermost regions, the elements exist in their purest form, yearning to escape.
