Pangation

Pangation was founded about 50 years ago and over that time has grown into a significant location for trade between the races. Everyone comes to trade their resources, goods and foodstuffs and the town is renowned for its civility overall. However, some of the races like the kobolds, orcs or trolls do find that they are less than welcome there. The common folk come to sell their wares and purchase things they do not make themselves. While adventuring types can find equipment for their chosen professions and a pleasant place to rest from their endeavors and enjoy some entertainment at the inns.

This town is under the protection of the president of Marganation.

Most of the regular residents of Pangation make their living in support of the trade that occurs there or through the creation of new inventions.

Demographics

All races and nationalities can be found here although the likes of kobolds, orcs and trolls are met with a fair amount of antipathy and typically avoid the area.

Government

Pangation’s leadership is made up of a Governor and a four-member council. A member of each race is elected, by each of its constituent populations each sitting for a five-year term. As a governor retires a new member of that race is elected to the council. The current governor is a Gnome governor that replaced the Dwarven governor Bemed Woldgrip who has since been sent to Caesion to represent the Dwarves on President Penry’s Advisory Council. The Governor's position is rotated on the basis of race alphabetically as follows: Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Halfling and Human. The individual is chosen by members of his own race.

Industry & Trade

Most of the regular residents of Pangation make their living in support of the trade that occurs there. They provide temporary living arrangements, meals. entertainment and the Bureaucratic underpinning to collect fees and taxes.

Infrastructure

This town developed as a trading hub over the five decades since it was founded. While it is self governed it is part of the Nation of Marganation.

It asset is that it is place centrally located to all of the races.

Architecture

While there are single story homes and farms on the outskirts of town most off the buildings surrounding The Market are multilevel dwellings and business.

Geography

The area around Pangation is hilly as it lies between the Central Mountains, the Kybian Forest and the Sivil Plains.

It shares in the resources of the neighboring lands which provide wood, grains, livestock and gems
