Runik League

The Runik League was a far-right nationalist and occultist group that was active throughout Ardun during the final years of the ardunan monarchy. Widely supported by the galtic middle classes and lower tiers of the ardunan aristocracy, the League stirred up resentment and scapegoating towards the urban poor, migrant workers, and ethnic farlanders. During the 1230's (4a), the League would engage in paramilitary organization, public intimidation, and terror attacks under the implicit support of law enforcement officials and the ardunan royal family, particularly Prince Morryn IV, who became the de facto public face of the organization after 1236.   Members of the League fought in the Ardunan Civil War on the nationalist side, and many leading figures of the organization acted as political officers within the ardunan army. After the United Labour Front's victory in the civil war, most of the leadership in the Runika League fled with the national government to the Upper Durwyn Isles, and assisted Morryin IV in establishing the Durwyn State.   After the Grand War, the remaining members of the Runik League were prosecuted for war crimes in the Stanhall Trials, and many were subsequently executed.
