Morryn IV

Morryn IV (John Morryn Nancarrow Brannen of House Overland, Sixth in His Name; 27 July 1208 - 21 December 1270) was a Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Ardun who ruled as King during the Ardunan Civil War after a Coup D'etat overthrew the Ardunan Parliament, which had refused to consider crowning him until after the 1242 General Election. After the Nationalist defeat in the war, Morryn fled to the northern Durwyn Isles, and established the Durwyn State (officially the Kingdom-in-Waiting of Ardunnon), where he held absolute power as Crawn.
In the closing days of the Second Heartland War, Morryn and his cabinet committed suicide in a failed ritual that would supposedly allow him to be reborn as the Seventh Alderking.
