The Leviva Militia

The militia of Leviva are their first line of defence, as well as their crime fighting organisation.

Structure

The leader of the militia is the Sheriff. The Sheriff has two Deputies to whom they delegate. These deputies have four Sergeants each who they delegate to. Below the Sergeants are the numerous Constables.

Public Agenda

The sole aim of the Militia is to keep the people of Leviva safe. That could be through the apprehending of thieves and thugs, or the rooting out of bandits.

Assets

The militia owns one building in Leviva, which they use as a base and jail. They have a decent supply of weapons and armour, including two rare Polybolos repeating crossbows purchased from the Legion of Progress.

History

The Leviva militia has existed in some form since the founding of Leviva in PR.2889. However, it was initially just an informal group of concerned citizens until the Parliament of Torfe gave authorisation for the founding of an official law enforcement agency in PR.2912
