Return to Leviva II: Rikke Returns Report

General Summary

Rikke and his cronies rush the group, coming at them from three sides. Brok-Bjorn unfortunately fell prey to an early use of Command by Rikke, and was force to retreat on his first turn, but soon turned back to re-enter the fight. While Straadmere held the right flank, taking as much damage as he dished out, Esme, Levi, and Mireme pushed on the left, lining the undead up for Esme to unleash an excellent Cresting Waves spell. Morthran offered help where he could, and let fly with his crossbow where he could get a shot in.
Brok-Bjorn re-entered the fight and was a whirlwind of devastation! His cleave ability came in very handy as he dispatched two of the undead cronies in one go not once, but twice! Through it all, Rikke had been dangerous with spell and sword, as well as the unpredictable capabilities of the Cursed Dawnbreaker. At one point he blasted in a line through Mireme and Levi leaving crackling lightning damage in his wake. Later, when pinned, he used it to activate thunder step, and try to escape before things went too badly for him.
He made it some way away, but Esme spotted him, and Brok-Bjorn quickly closed the gap using his Orcish Aggression. Pinned, and with no means of escape, Rikke turned on Brok-Bjorn, and quickly rendered the Orc unconscious with a number of devastating sword blows. But help arrived in time to prevent Brok-Bjorn suffering an untimely fate, and Esme and Morthran blasted Rikke with spell and crossbow, before Mireme finished him off with a devastating Scorching Ray...
