Earl of Hawkport
Qualifications
This is a hereditary title. It was granted to the first duke for military and political achievements.
Requirements
Since this is a hereditary title, one has to be born into a family that is nobility. It is passed down along the male line, to the first son.
Appointment
The firstborn son (usually) will assume the title upon his father's death. A person can also be appointed to this rank, if they have achieved a significant military battle or political goal.

- Seeing to repairs when needed
- Attending the Noble Conclave of Edria

Benefits
Access to wealth, ancestral lands, jewels, and other items as acquired by the family.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
The title is passed from father to son. As long the curent duke has a living son, it will stay in the family. If their is no son, then it will go to the next eligible male (brother, cousin, nephew). But if there is no eligible male than the rank for that area will be declared defunct. The title can also be striped while a person is living, if that person has brought dishonor to himself or the Crown.
History
A stonemason saved the life of one of the princesses of Edria. The Queen of Edria insisted his dead was heroic and granted him lands and the title of Earl. Using his skills, he built a grand mansion and helped his tenets strengthen their homes. Through the years, the Earls of Hawkport have been mindful of the hardwork their tenets put in and have inspired loyalty by working alongside them when needed.
In politics, they have stood up for the workers, especially stonemasons. They are known for being patrons of the art.
