Personal history
Charity was emotionally abused since she was a child. When she met Jasper Oaksfield at the age of 18 she fell for his charm because sie was seeking the love she never had. She truly believed he loved her. It didn't take long for the emtional abuse to start and then the physical abuse.
Charity took it, despite so many telling her to leave him. She married him when she was 22 (2003 IE) right after finishing all her learning. She wasn't allowed to use what she knew in an actual job/profession. She gave birth to Josh Oaksfield in 2009 IE, Rowena Oaksfield in 2011 IE and Annabelle Oaksfield in 2013 IE.
In 2021 IE, she met Cyrus James. He wooed her and once again she fell for the charm, believing she'd get the love she so desparately wanted from someone other than her children. On 31 Nocurnalis 2022 IE, while she was with Cyrus James, Jasper Oaksfield killed their children and then committed suicide.
Charity has lived with Cyrus James ever since but he's not the charmer or the loving man she originally thought. When she finds a shrine dedicated to her that he made, she's finally confronted with just how deeply his pathos runs and realizes he targeted her.
She breaks free of him only to find herself entering a Hallows' House where confronting the past truly sets her free.
