The Beryl Island Conflict is passed through verbal history in both Dragonborn and Berylfolk cultures. Dragonborn seeking dominance and order struggled near endlessly against the pure natural chaos of the Berylfolk. Many myths and legends arise from this conflict. Legends of the unleashing of lycanthropes and dragons color battles as well as the knowledge of ancient curses and alchemy. Deep seeded resentment remains painted in myths and songs from both cultures.
