The day after the Salem event Grant and Rose Le's mom, Tina Liu, demands to know what happened that night. At first trying to brush it off, Preston Chan convinces the others that it'd be better if they just tell her now than for her to find out later. Begrudgingly, Zarya, Theo, Grant, and Rose agree to tell her the truth. Just as the others expected, Tina takes it badly and grounds Grant and Rose, while threatening to tell the others parents what they've been doing. Preston, Zarya, and Theo are able to convince her not to tell them, as long as they also stop their crimefighting. They falsely agree, just so they can end the conversation. Rhys is notified about what happened by Zarya once she gets home. Grant and Rose aren't able to participate in any of the Teen Titans activities for the foreseeable future.
