Pastry Palace
Pastry Palace is one of Borgalor's largest fast food restaurant chains, best known for its meat pies, essentially the borgalorean equivalent of hamburgers, usually served along with mandrake- or turnip fries, Fizzies and sweet pastries on the side. Its logo is a stylized golden pie, the signs are made of brass, and the general colour scheme is teal and pink.
The company was founded by Kmoss Gúrax and his son Tygnes in 32 BF in Kmúþó in southwestern Jælondis, and by the time Fell Wars began nearly thirty years later, Pastry Palace had already become a popular food chain throughout southern Jútrilía, western Fúmsis and certain countries on the Maralon Steppe, and since then has spread to other regions of Jælondis as well as the Southlands and, most recently, western Örkraz.
One notable exception to this are the Qug Mountains, where the highland dwarves generally prefer their native variations of meat pies and thus Pastry Palace has been unable to compete with local companies.
