The nóbrals1 are the predominantly goblin inhabitants of the country of Nóbralúk in eastern Ójom, with smaller communities found in Biþræ and Brelt to the north and northwest, respectively. They are known for their shellcraft, textiles and smiths.
Men often wear tall, cylindrical wicker hats covered in fish scales as part of formal wear.
Ritual dances are performed at the beginning and end of the year's fishing season, the first to ask the spirits of the sea to protect the crews and the second to thank the spirits for the catch.

Apparel
While the use of shells to decorate clothing and jewelry is common throughout Narúrt, nóbrals have long been praised by other goblin cultures for their skills at shellcraft, with different types of shells symbolizing things like marital status, religious affiliation or occupation depending on the how they are worn. Tartan fabric, usually dyed red or pink with additional yellow, blue or orange elements is common as well, to the point that it's featured on the country's flag.Men often wear tall, cylindrical wicker hats covered in fish scales as part of formal wear.
Culture
Cuisine
Traditional nóbral cuisine is similar to that of the Þelæans and Biþrans, being heavily based on seafood, freshwater fish and fowl, tubers, mutton, Giant Rats and ale, along with a number of local dishes based on fish balls or shrimps. Fermented shrimps are particularly popular, as are ones marinaded in spiced ale.Ritual dances are performed at the beginning and end of the year's fishing season, the first to ask the spirits of the sea to protect the crews and the second to thank the spirits for the catch.
Language
Nóbralic is a northern coastal goblinic language like öþranic spoken by the biþrans, though it shares a number of features with the southern branch as well. It is notably non-rhotic, with most nóbralic speakers either pronouncing the R /ɹ/ at the end of a word as /ʕ/ (e.g. Terbar /thɛɹhbaʕ/) or -much like rural þelæans- don't pronounce it at all.Warfare
The large, conical, metal helmets used in many goblin countries -particularly Kröþa- originated among the nóbrals during the empire of Ama, whose blacksmiths were inspired by archaic helmets made from coiled rope depicted on ancient monuments.1Original icelandic: nóbralar, singular: nóbrali.
