The axaxans1 are an ethnic group of primarily goblin and half-goblin origin found primarily in Ninnirt Zö in eastern Jælondis, particularly in the southeastern part of the country. They are descendants of goblins who invaded and settled the region during the empire of Onþók, but due to relatively peaceful relationship with the native Dwarves compared to the rest of the country eventually fought on the latter's side when the empire lost its territories outside of what is now Narúrt.
Because of this, axaxans are now the most vibrant goblin communities in central and eastern Ójom, and have variously adopted the culture, language and religious practices of the ruling Njóþans or adapted to their own traditions. Their language, axaxic, is still widely spoken in the province of Qüq' Pfu'uzó where it is recognized as a national language, though it has become vulnerable due to bilingualism.

Religion

Most axaxans follow a syncretic faith combining aspects of traditional ancestor worship with njóþan teraftism, such as observing feasts and fasting like the latter throughout the year along with leaving offerings to ancestral spirits.
