Ashar

Ashar is an unchartered continent that lies west of Tembra, beyond the Sea of Good Fortune. A mix of treacherous sea routes, hostile natives, and a lack of motive have all dissuaded extensive travel to Ashar and knowledge about it is considerably limited.
Most information on the island is sourced from the ashari migrants who have left Ashar to make a new life in Tembra or, more rarely, Eremere. Its geography is said to be particularly treacherous and the island is home to many twisted and deadly creatures that make life there nigh impossible.

Ashari

The ashari are the native population of Ashar and during the 9th and 10th centuries EL many travelled across the Sea of Good Fortune to reach the shores of Tembra and Eremere. The cause of this spike in migration has yet to be discovered. The ashari are distinct from most people in Tembra and Eremere due to their darker skin tone and dark blond hair. As such, they are often treated as outsiders to society.
Due to racism and hostility to ashari culture in Tembra and Eremere, little of it is preserved in the lives of ashari immigrants. This does not, by any means, imply it does not still remain prominent in the minds of even second or third-generation immigrants, but for their own social well-being they have not seen fit to relay it to locals.
