Magic Nullifcation Cage

It is often necessary to detain a user of magic for one reason or another. However, if one does not have access to magical abilities of their own, this is often impossible. However, it was recently discovered that by crafting a cage out of fonaj and assembling the pieces in a certain way, the cage is able to nullify the magical abilities of the being held within.   This technique of imprisoning magic users was recently discovered by researchers in the Principality of Ptau, who is currently guarding the information about it. They expect to put it to use when inevitable hostilities break out among the Eastern Principalities. The only other group that is aware of this invention is the Ujajoxoro clan, as the Principality bargained for a reduced price for the fonaj by sharing the information found in their research. In particular, the dwarf Konnar Firebrand, a master smith from the Ujajoxoro, was loaned to the Principality to assist with the work, as the research required forging and reforging bars of fonaj, a process the dwarfs don't readily share.

Manufacturing

The cage was conceived by Tinaul qī Narat. She enlisted Ptinar naqī Vinītau and Konnar Firebrand to build prototypes and perfect the manufacturing technique. The first working cage was completed in 1915 CT.   Constructing a magic nullification cage begins with cylindrical bars constructed of pure fonujajo. The diameter of the rods depends on the physical strength (not magical strength) of the being or item to be caged. The rods are then shaped and welded together using the special techniques of the Ujajoxoro. A door an be included if desired. Once the cage has been constructed it is ready for use.

Access & Availability
The Pricipality of Ptau currently holds this device as a secret, the very existence known only to a few.
Complexity
The cage is a fairly simple construct, consisting primarily of bars of fonujajo formed in a specific manner into a semi-spherical cage.
