Yvx
Yvx is a nation that controls the High Arian plateau. It does not have much contact with its southern neighbors, and boasts a completely different culture and history, as its people, the Sivesk, are originally from the continent of Xivesk.
Structure
The Kingdom of Yvx is highly centralized on the plateau of High Arian, and is divided into tributary fiefs overseen by Gons. In the early years of the kingdom these places were purely feudal states, controlled by the aristocracy, but by the Third Era, the Aristocrats are largely ceremonial, and most governing is done by royal bureaucrats appointed by the Vxewang.
Territories
Yvx is has complete dominion over the High Arian plateau. Their territory is hemmed in by the northern and the eastern spurs of the Beran Mountains, and the frigid Haibera Sea. The government of Yvx claims the Berani Archipelago, but rarely have the military force to bring those territories back into the fold.
Foreign Relations
Yvx rarely deals with other nations outside its sphere, seeing its neighbors to the south and east as being to barbaric for regular diplomatic relationships. Their main diplomatic partner is Berani. Through out the history of the two nations Yvx has consistently tried to regain control over the island chain, though by the third era Yvx has accepted Berani as a younger brother rather than a wayward child.
Trade across the southern mountains does occur, but Yvx has little tolerence for any Tivellian incursions into Sivesk land, and vice versa.
