Tivellian
The people from Kingdom of Tiveldech. Their culture is as varied as the provinces that make up the kingdom, but there are many areas that they all have in common, the most obvious being language.
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
Tivellians speak modern Theolese, a language that is descended from the language spoken in the old Theolese Theocracy. Dialects differ from region to region, with many loan words from Erkiden and Chelen.
Shared customary codes and values
Tivellian culture is built upon values of hard work and rugged survival. The first people to live in the region had to fight back the horrors that came out of the dark Tivel forest and the Beran Mountains. As such there is great value put upon martial skill, tending to be more individualistic than their neighbors to the south.
