High Arian

High Arian is an elevated plateau east of the Beran Mountains on the north east corner of Ariankoz. It has a large river that runs through it called the Arian River. It is a very cold region with a very high altitude. It is populated by only Mountain Dwarves and some Orc tribes.

Geography

This area is elevated plataue of stone, usually covered in snow or ice for most of the year because it is so far north. It is very rough terrain, with little running water except for the few month of summer it has when the ice and snow melts causing massive flows of ice and water to slough off the plateau into the northern sea or flows down into Tivel or Low Arian.

Natural Resources

Beneath the packed ice and snow, the dwarves have large mines where they have access to Iron, Gold, and other metals. In the far north the Izesper Clan of mountain dwarves mines a rare type of gem called Nyfylsteers , which is known for its blue shine, strength and light weight.
