Mountain Elves

Mountain Elves are a subrace of the Elves who occupy mountainous regions. They are considered to be savage than other Elven races. Small bands of mountain elves can be found scaling cliffs to find a new place to camp for the night, or bounding down slopes in a group hunt.   Mountain Elves are the smallest subrace of elves. They are just as graceful as their cousins, but are generally more practical and to the point.

Civilization and Culture

Major Organizations

The Copasho is a group of Mountain Elves that have formed together to protect their homelands from people they see as outsiders.

Culture and Cultural Heritage

Mountain elves are nomadic, they do not have settled cities. Instead they travel in small bands numbering from 20 to 100 people. When a group is too large they will generally agree to divide into smaller groups, or some of those ostracized from their own bands will join together to form a new band.

History

Supposedly Mountain Elves strayed the farthest from their origins, (other than the Dark Elves whom left Jasceenah's light entirely. Mountains elves did not hate their creator, but felt at unease among their fellows.   So they left, not all at once, but slowly over generations, gathering in small bands on mountain tops and highlands. They were not rebellious, they did not detest their creator, but felt more comfortable in the mountains.
