Skadi
Skadi is a Vanir goddess associated with snow, and the hunt.
She is often referred to as Jotun, though she is no more Jotun than the rest of the Gods. She has Jotun blood in her like they all go, but for Skadi this is more noticeable. She has a height not normally seen amongst the Aesir and and Vanir females.
She had a short marriage with Njord, though this did not go well; she was not looking for Njord but for Baldr She was made to pick her husband by his feet; and chose the most beautiful. These were not Baldr's however. Their marriage dissolved, as Njord could not abide the mountains, and Skadi could not abide the sea.
