Wilhard's Trial
A two month period of calamity for the town of Ostervand in which it was raided by The Forsaken gang and the main grain barn burned to the ground.
Summary
On the 17th of Marpenoth, 1315, the town's main grain storage barn burned to the ground turningall the produce to ash just as winter was beginning to set in. This broke the spirits of many Osters as the previous winter had been harsh and the spring of that year wet, many fields had failed. Minister Wilhard Tork assured his people that word had been sent to Demarsh, Farre and Stockcross asking for aid to see them through until the next summer when food would be available agian.
Word reached further than he hoped though for on the 11th of Uktar the town was raided by The Forsaken who targeted the remaining herds of Axebeaks and Guildhalls for treasure. They stole nearly 100 animals in a mass exodus as well as a vast haul of money. It was only in the morning did the town realise that the Fuldri Family had been murdered and their home ransacked.
