The Guilded Pillow
Purpose / Function
The Guilded Pillow acts as a place of worship for followers of Faylin by operating as a brothel, providing love and care for all members of the community. Customers can pay for services of these priests for companionship, comfort and conversation.
Alterations
THe building has been expanded numerous times over the years growing from humble beginnings as a small wooden structure to a grand structure containing multiple chambers, meeting rooms and social spaces.
In 1311 the township paid for renovations of the Pillow to thank them for aiding in managing the Twinsel Sickness outbreak in 1299.
Architecture
The structure is made from well crafted cut stonework that glistens in sunshine, carved wooden frames and supports that line windows and doorframes & clay planters that trail beautiful flowers.
The building has three floors:
The ground floor is a wide open social space filled with tables, sofas and chairs for people to talk and meet. They hold weekly art classes, dating events & reading groups to encourage people to mix and form new connections. The goal is to promote love and friendship between new people to honour Faylin.
The first floor contains a series of private rooms for more intimate activites, some of these spaces can hold ten people at one time.
The second floor is where the worshipers of Faylin live.
