Crown Plaza Gatehouse

This Gatehouse is located close the Crown Plaza in the city of Stockcross.

Purpose / Function

This gatehouse was built to control the duel gate system that grants access throught the monolithic stone walls guarding the inner city. 
It contains its own garrison of city guards and a Minister to handle legal matters such as punishments, fines and permit approval.

Architecture

Made from the same material as the walls, siltstone and Fymorrh clay, the Gatehouse has an intimidating aura of shadowy grey. The structure fills the tower that climbs into the sky over 70ft and several buildings attached to the inner side of the wall.

Defenses

The gatehouse controls two seperate iron gates that can be lowered to deny access through the wall. The space over the outer gate has numerous arrow slits and murderholes for defence, along with crenulations decorating the walls to provide cover for archers and spell casters.
