The childe of Queen Eleanor, Rosalyn Christopher was a Masquerade breach-turned-asset in the eyes of the Queen of Baltimore. Caught photographing the Kindred as a mortal, the Queen gave her a choice: join their ranks or die. Rosalyn chose the former.
She joined the ranks of the Bahari, worshipers of Lilith, and quickly rose through them as she sought meaning for her young life. It certainly didn't hurt that she was infatuated with the high priestess nor that she was lost without the fervor of religion.
Rosalyn was captured by the Second Inquisition and tortured for information regarding her Sire, and despite her best efforts, to use the teachings of Lilith to resist, she failed. For her failure, Rosalyn was disowned and cast out by the Queen to find her own way.
The Second Inquisition seized upon this opportunity, and captured the neonate to create a mole, though a strange mole: through a mixture of magick and science she was given a new personality, of a vampire who watched their family die by their Sire's hand and hated who they were. Hated it enough to hunt others like them. For a month she lived as this false identity, but she eventually met an old acquaintance, Persephone Blackwood, and while getting to know her Persephone lost control of her magic.
Rosalyn was inundated with memories, knowledge, of a life that wasn't hers, but also her own life flooded back: Andrew Leakey, Heirophant of the Church of Set in Baltimore, and a good friend of Seph's, was now also a bosom friend of Rosalyn's in all but relationship. She knew things about him that not even Seph knew, and it would be her next tragedy.
Through Sutekh, Andrew learned of Rosalyn's dangerous insight into his life and attempted to rectify the leak, sending the Kindred assassin Arslan to bring him the unidentified keeper of his memories. Upon discovering it was the Princess, he determined to use her to trap her Sire, his regnant, the Queen, into the Duat. But first he staked her and left her on the wall as a grotesque trophy, cutting her eyelids every night so she could do nothing but stare at him as he continued with his work.
Andrew's lover, Nefertiti, was the one to eventually release Rosalyn. She claims that Sutekh has a plan for the young Ventrue, though Rosalyn doesn't know what that means. Fleeing the temple, she is afraid to go to her Sire and warn her of the danger Andrew presents, but she has done what the Queen asked of her... somewhat.
Rosalyn now runs a small business: the Hotel Jude in South Baltimore. She is a good contact if you need a safe place to sleep for the day and will happily house the Kindred traveling through the area... provided they remain civil despite their disputes with one another.
