Roune ('Roo-neh)
Roune is part of a Diarchy with its neighbor Veymar. The two societies have been inextricably linked since the fall of the Carovarian empire centuries ago. What followed was a number of centuries where the two countries went back and forth from being at war with each other and banding together to fight off outside forces while proclaiming their kinship. With it's inland capital city of Elissar, Rouen people are considered to be some of the best field generals and tacticians in the world (probably owed to their constant practice), and are known for their legal system and courts. They tend to be fair to olive skinned (depending on provenance) with nearly any hair color, though darker shades are more prominent.
