The Black Wings
The organisation known as The Black Wings is a mercenary force that consist of multiple individual units operating under the same banner. While the organisation has a leader, who the leaders of the units answer to, they act mostly independantly of one another, across the entire continent of Iyos.
There is great debate amongst regional leaders as to whether the blame the multiple crimes commited by individual units operating under the banner of the organisation, or to hold the organisation itself accountable. Rumours say that various units of the Black Wings partake in illeagal activities, ranging from theft, kidnapping, murder and arson, with a surprising amount of these crimes being directed towards religious organisations and properties. Some have claimed that the forces of the Black Wings have force many innocent bystanders to publically renouce their religious beliefs, under extreme duress. Destruction of any and all religious symbols, texts and houses of worship have also been reported along with the murder of priests and other religious individuals. As a result, many religious organisations have set hefty bounties on the heads of the leaders of this heretical group. It is due to this reported behaviours that the unknown leader of the organisation has been dubbed, the Heretic.

Structure
The organisation is organised into several groups, each group being led by one or more of the organisations leadership. These leaders get to act with full autonomy and authority over their members, so long as they operate towards the end goal.
Public Agenda
The groups primary objective is to destroy and kill beings known as Gods. As part of their attempts to achieve this, those who are a part of this group have resorted to burning down any buildings or shrines dedicated to any gods and burning any relgious texts.
Assets
In order to fund their forces, they gain the majority of their wealth from the religious organisations they attack. Before burning down their buildings, they rob it of anything of value. However, they are known to take on jobs for money.
History
Founded in the year 1870, the organisation has grown substantially since its conception. It gained a significant reputation amongst the various kingdoms of Iyos as a strong and reliable fighting force. However, in recent years reports of the groups of this organisation looting small settlements and causing significant damage to religious buildings and killing civilians in the area have been recieved far and wide.
