Jannil's Plateau
Formerly known as Ras'xar Vruu (Lonely Island Mountain), and was later renamed after Jannil Valeor. This plateau has long since held significance within the region, allowing the Zangarian Dragons to secure their land from invasion for well over a century. Even to this day, the fortress built upon it provides a valuable sense of safety and security to the denizens that call this region home.
Originally, the plateau was used as a haven from monsters, which all seemed to avoid this area. This lead the denizens of the region to believe that the plateau is inhabited by a protective god or spirit. To which, the locals have offered prayers and offerings over the centuries. A shrine was built atop the plateau, next to a beautiful pond believes to be the home of the protective being. While the exact nature of this being is unknown, they have become known a Has'varu (The Silent Protector). Many locals represent Has'varu with the symbol of a serpent with fins, as they believe them to reside within the small pond atop the plateau.
