The Black Cliffs
The Black Cliffs are a large region in the Northern Zangarian Plain, where the elevation of the land rises to meet with the Zangarian Mountains. This are is filled with valleys and exposed rockfaces, causing a hazardous landscape to traverse.
A number of settlements used to exist within the area, which was ruled over by the Zangarian Dragons. However, in the year 1871 AD, a large scale wolven assault decimated the dragons stronghold and the surrounding villages. Since then, the region has remained unihabited, primarily due to the large number of undead that began to appear in the region following the assault.
The surviving zangarians relocated and built a new settlement that quickly grew in size thanks to the nearby traderoutes
