Jannil Valeor
Jannil Valeor was a Zangarian who was a famous k'tan warrior of his time. He died in the year 1756 AD.
His most famous exploit, was when he and a squad of zangarian warriors fended off a wolven incursion from capturing the plateau at the heart of the Northern Zangarian Plain. The plateau was considered a stategically valuable location, and that if the wolven tribes were able to capture it before reinforcements arrived, would allow the wolven tribes to secure a foothold in the zangarian's territory, from which they would be able to cut off outside aide to the zangarians from allies and merchants alike.
However, Jannil and his men fought for three days and nights, a mere twelve warriors against hundreds, and fended the wolves off long enough for zangarian reinforcements to arrive and drive back the tribes. Afterwards, Jannil and his men were awarded for their bravery and actions. Later Jannil would be given the role as commander of the fortress that was built atop that plateau. From this location, the zangarians have managed to prevent the wolven tribes from interfering with their trade routes and protect the surrounding villages from their attacks. Jannil was the commander of this fortress until he retired in the year 1741 AD.
