Storming Peaks

Geography

The largest geographical feature on all of Saros. The Storming Peaks consist of the enormous western mountain range of the continent. Stretching from the southern shores up into the far North meeting with the Tundril Mountains. The mountains within the Storming Peaks often reach above the clouds to distances unknown. Due to the mountain range's proximity to the ocean, large storms often pepper the mountains leading to the creation of the giant lakes found deep within the range. Few paths and roads have been traversed through the range making it a strategic natural defense for both the Cerulean Coast and the Empire of Embrith.

Fauna & Flora

Due to the sheer size of the mountain range, it is unknown what creatures may reside within it or not. Though the usual mountain creatures such as deer, bears, pigs, and many types of birds live within the range. Similarly, it is still unknown what plant life may still dwell within the range's protection other than the normal trees and forest and mountain landscapes.

Natural Resources

The Storming Peaks are bountiful with the natural resources that reside within it. Hunting animals and collecting plants is easy within the incredible natural wonder. Logging is easy in the lower elevations, however, more expensive woods can be found in the higher altitudes. Underground and beneath the mountains, ore veins run wild, streaking through the earth in any and all directions. Though one must be careful when delving deep for the caverns that have formed beneath the Storming Peaks are as imposing as the mountain range above, this labyrinth of tunnels and caves can easily lose experience miners and adventurers.
