Tundril Mountains

Geography

A massive mountain range with peaks that sometimes rise above the clouds, spans across the continent from the East to West coasts in the northern region. A natural barrier from the wild frigid northern wastes, the Tundril Mountains enclose the Morruvain Forest and the Norlond Kingdom. Being so far north, the mountains are nearly always covered in snow and while some of the mountain peaks are made of pure ice due to the freezing temperatures.

Fauna & Flora

Nearly nothing grows on the Tundril mountains, except for the Morruvain forest trees. Though extremely rare, there is a flower that can grow in the mountain range, the Frozen Rose. A beautiful ice blue rose that can only be found in freezing temperatures. Though not many plants can grow in the mountains, beasts and monsters still inhabit them some outside and others within deep caves.

Natural Resources

The possibilities of resources from the mountains are only fathomed by merchants and entrepreneurs alike, for no expedition has been successful in surviving the regions harsh environments. The mountains are, however, untapped and could potentially hold vast quantities of precious metals, gems, and stones within.
