The Prince or Princess is the descendant of the current ruler, thus they are expected to keep face and maintain proper etiquette when out in public for they are potentially the next in line for the throne.

As potentially the next ruler of the country, the Prince or Princess is to study under the mentorship and guidance of court officials in all manners from ballroom dancing to proper posture to diplomatic and militaristic affairs.
Benefits
As the direct descendant to the crown, the Prince or Princess has, essentially, the backing of the country in any and all forms. Therefore, the title holders are in precarious positions with the actions they undertake.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
The title can only be removed if the holder is disowned by the current ruler or if another Prince or Princess takes the throne, thus changing the immediate ruling family.
