The mermaids' magic is mostly connected to the water and, of course, the sea. They are also extremely beautiful and their voices melodic, so much so that they can hipnotize men to do their bidding.
They are split by the three seas according to the color of their tail: red, blue, and yellow. Their eyes are slanted to better adapt to the water, and their vision/earing is extremely acute.
They have the highest rates of fertility on land. It is said they often kill the partner with whom they mate.
