Sársau'Nga Ka'Doulè
The House of Pain Givers
There are many crafts people in the Realm. There are many skilled crafts people in the Realm. And, many of these people provide very good products. However, if you are a person who wants a weapon that is beyond exceptional, then you will seek out a member of the House Pain Givers, Sársau'Nga Ka'Doulè.
Some thousands of years ago, a family of Orcs began manufacturing weapons of exceptional quality. As their renown grew in Orc communities, more individual Orcs saught to join the family and learn their techniques. Through a gradual process of economic and social forces a small settlement grew around the family's home. This settlement became known as Heisarsau, Home of the Pain Givers.
Heisarsau currently has a population of roughly 3000 Orcs. The majority being part of the Sársau'Nga Ka'Doulè, or working in support of the Sársau'Nga Ka'Doulè and thus by extension part of this ethnic group.
Reaching the settlement of Heisarsau is not an easy task. Experienced traders guard the knowledge of their routes closely, so are very unlikely to take 'guests.' Having direct access to the settlement and its goods is quite an advantage. The Order of The Spear may take interested parties for a price, but this is very dangerous as the Order will not travel known paths through Aut'tep'ko. Perhaps there are no known paths? And, acquiring a making of the Sársau can be achieved outside of Heisarsau, as there are several of the Sársau in great Capitals and even a few Sársau who have wandering shops. Realistically, there is no need to visit Heisarsau.
"No. You don't want a short sword. You want a long knife. I'll make you a long knife. Of course they are different. Now be quiet or leave my shop. Better yet, stand here... then leave my shop." Hurnja BoDar, Orc Crafts Master of Sársau'Nga Ka'Doulè.

Culture
Major language groups and dialects
Pain Givers have a unique dialect of Orcish specifically for their craftwork. This dialect is difficult to master structurally and is highly technical. Those not born in Heisarsau, where the language is spoken regularly by families of experts, often can not fluently master the language. Having an advance knowledge of weaponsmithing, engineering, chemical sciences and other allied professional knowledges greatly helps individuals learn this language.

The traditions of Sársau'Nga Ka'Doulè are contained in their understanding of Respectful Making - Vir'kaute. This subtle and unwritten code informs the daily rhythm of life for the Sársau'Nga Ka'Doulè. The Medicaments are constantly attempting to record the philosophy/code, but they are politely and creatively resisted. The Paragons do not see a need to intervene as much as the Brotherhood would like them to.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Sársau'Nga Ka'Doulè typically are attracted to the capacity to make beautiful ways to cause pain. The more elegant, creative, efficient and pleasing an individuals makings are, the more attractive they are. It known, that one Sársau can not win the affection of another Sársau unless they can create a making worthy of them. So it is not surprising that an individual's physical beauty merely plays a factor in attraction as a physical testament to the quality of Vir'kaute that an individual can produce. Scars, injuries, disfigurements all are attractive to Sársau if acquired through Vir'kaute.
"I made the first of these for my husband. I won his love with it. Not only does the quiver hold your arrows securely regardless of orientation, impact or weather. The arrow draw is not inhibited and when fitted properly allows for relaxed quick access. But, " the Sársau looked affectionately at the prototype mounted on the wall of their shop, " each arrow is coated with a substance contained in a secret reservoir. The reservoir is modular, so it can be exchanged with another. It is now a very popular making."
Courtship Ideals
Families do not let their children marry persons not native to Heisarsau. Such arrangements causes problems. It is commonly accepted that those who live outside of Heisarsau are not 'worthy' of the honour of being a Pain Giver. They do not understand the proper ways of Vir'Kaute (Respectful Making). And, practically, so few are capable of creating a making worthy of one of the Sársau.
