Loraica Rainforest (lor-eye-cuh)
Located along the southern coast of the Morgran Peninsula, this dense rainforest exists in stark contrast with the oppressive desert it abuts. In fact, the rainforest's very name is indicative of this juxtaposition: the early lizardfolk settlers of this area called the rainforest - as well as the coastal port they later founded - "blessing". Coming from the vast desert, these peoples were thankful for the lush vegetation and less harsh climate of the rainforest.
Though the town of Loraica is the largest and most known settlement within the rainforest, it is also home to dozens of tiny villages that are not included on any map and do not have much contact with the outside world. Jungle explorers or those who get lost trying to trek through the dense forest often encounter these villages and are usually welcomed for a short time, though given icy receptions and viewed with suspicion or scrutiny while there.
