Mithral Doors (mith-ruhl)
The main gates of the dwarven city of Gel Morgran, these massive gates are paradoxically made of solid adamantine. The early dwarves in the city incorrectly believed them to be mithral, and their composition was not confirmed until several centuries later. Each of the two massive gates is adorned with a rune for the god Morgran and a rune for Protection. The gates stand over 40 feet tall and are each about 25 feet wide and 15 feet thick. They would be massive gates for a Giant stronghold, much less the home of dwarves.
Because the Doors have been around since before recorded history, their origin and creation is unknown. Local legend speculates that they were created by Morgran himself when he was setting up the city for his people.
