The only known characteristics of the individual are the eponymous red robes that he wears... and that he is seemingly male.  

Known Associations

  • Lavarius Longstaff - Indications in notes and in dialogue with the mad old mage that 'a man in red robes' was the one supplying Lavarius with the equipment needed for him to carry out his research
  • The Woodland Raiders - Under interrogation, Thovald - a dwarven member of the Woodland Raiders - revealed that 'a man in red robes' was the one who met with Baryn, their leader, and paid for them to steal the shipment of dancing fire that was heading to Ullford for the Feast of Plenty celebrations.
  • Cult of the Nine - The Man in the Red Robes was seen assaulting Halatir's Haven - Ullford during the attack on Ullford during The Feast of Plenty. It is presumed he was the orchestrator of the attack itself. He was seen with a woman dressed in a black robe typically worn by the Cult of the Nine.
  • Kudrugg & Ezen Stoneback - During the uprising of Obskarv, an Undwarf settlement in the Undrelm, a group of adventurers faced off against Prince Kudrugg Stoneback and his wife, Ezen to help overthrow their oppressive regime. During the initial confrontation, The Man in the Red Robes was mentioned as the reason why the Stonebacks had upped the workload of the miners, to speed up the search for the Kor Ol'Mag (The Heart of Fire), which was supposedly buried where the mines are situated.
