The Federation is run by a united nation's council with one representative from each nation being present in decisions... there are also 6 Regions which usually work together for the nation's within them. North Amerian, South American, Western European, Slavic Sector, greater Asian, and African sectors... additionally there are delegates from Mars and any other human colonies or territories.

The Federation has access to several colonized worlds in the Sol System aswell as any conqured territory during the Cosmic war. they also had a limited fleet of 300 ships before the war but quickly gained more than 12,000 ships during the war... using alien crews aswell as AI to help crew ships.
History
Before the unification conference in 2040 after first contact with the Kadar Androids, the earth was a primitive warlike world, every country constantly fighting for control of the planet. however after first contact with the Kadar And Walren, their technology rapidly advanced and they set out among the stars... by the time of the Cosmic war they at least had enough ships to defend their system. however, by the end of the war they controled a substantial piece of former Kadar territory and still do to this day.
