Scyiodite Exodus (S-eye-oh-die-t)

Culture: Secretive   Overview: Scyiodites culture is nearly as bizarre as their biology. Firstly, no Scyiodites will even so much as touch a firearm and hold great disdain for anyone using one in their presence. If it wasn’t clear already, they are extremely secretive about every aspect of themselves, anyone inquiring on their anatomy or reason for doing something are met with cold silence, or much worse, their physical voice. As could be expected, they do not let any foreign races enter their singular home system, which is located in the middle outer fringe of Saurian territory. As historically Scyiodites never interfere with events that do not concern them, most empires allow them to move freely through their territory. This is mostly just for show however as it is nearly impossible to prevent ships that can turn invisible from crossing a border.   Politics: As previously mentioned, Scyiodites do not involve themselves with other nations, the Saurian Empire being the most notable exception. All that is officially known is that they occasionally meet with Saurian officials and nothing more. Unofficially, Scyiodites work with the Saurian Empire frequently, most often acting as retinues for Saurian Inquisitors, occasionally acting as full inquisitors themselves.   Technology: As everything with the Scyiodites, their technology level is widely unknown. They do seem to be very advanced in several fields at least, such as cloaking technology and ftl travel, though it is unknown whether or not they utilize the Void for these things. They don’t have any sort of gun on their ships or on a small arms scale, instead using strange atomic cutting devices for space combat and various plasma or tachyon melee weapons on the ground, though often as not they use their telekinetic or psychic abilities as a weapon to greater effect.
