Alta (ALL-TAH)
Geography
Alta is mostly made up of dry steppe land and rocky hills. many types of shrubs and small trees exist on the world but there are few Forrested areas on the planet. the hills are full of minerals and metals such as Vantium, Iron, copper, and Silver.
Ecosystem
The planets ecosystem is governed by large carnivorous arachnids that roam the plains in packs. these Spiders are pollinators, wildlife control and even have a limited effect on the weather using their collective to have a telekinetic effect on the weather.
Climate
Alta is typically quite warm, usually hovering the the 120° F range, however the poles of the planet are somewhat cooler at around 87° F on average.
Natural Resources
Alta is mostly known as a backwater mining world and as such the largest natural resource on the planet is silver which is mined heavily by Imperial and civilian contractors alike.
History
Alta was first settled in 23,789 EWR by an unknown nomadic cult of the Walren empire and had since kept many traditions alive from these first Altans.
